Workshop Lampmaking – Glassfuse

DURATION: 10:00-16:00U

In our small and cosy studio in Utrecht we want to celebrate what glass can do. Always wanted to know the basics about glass and the many ways we can use and manipulate it? In this workshop we take a look into the first assets of glass-art en what is needed to make a small to medium work out of the kiln*.

To respect our ideology and interest, we have created this workshop that is focussed on creating and designing an lamp. The following is included in the workshop:

  • Glass and other materials that are included in the design (fitting, power cord)
  • The use of our studio’s designs.
  • use of one firing. The glass will be put in the kiln on a later moment.
  • A lovely lunch and coffee.

Final works can be collect upon request/appointment. Any wishes to use a parcel service is also availably. We will always send items with the highest care and protection.

*Personal use of kilns are not part of this workshop. The firing takes place on a different date. Basics about the whole process/kiln/material/tools are taken into account during this workshop.
